Hand

Any news on Hand? His injury didn’t look good. Could be another knee injury. It looked like his father was on the court while the medical staff was looking at him. Didn’t see what happened. He may have been in the pile up under hoop at the end of the game. Although he was on the floor closer to midcourt.

Who is ready for some snow? In Worcester we are getting predictions for as little as a foot to as much as two feet. Supposedly a light fluffy snow. Time will tell.

Off to the store at lunct time to shop. Planning to make meatballs and sauce for a spaghetti and meatball dinner and then meatball sandwiches to get us through the leftovers. The Texas Toast Garlic Bread makes for a great meatball sandwich.

Be safe everyone!

MIAA high school season

Lost to Hanover 28-18 last night. Pain. Tough to lose your all state QB. Stuff that was automatic last year in the passing game is not automatic anymore. Hanover has a great QB. Probably a Stonehill, Merrimack, Bryant type kid. More accurate than BC qbs haha. But tough to stop in high school.

I heard CM was up 21-0 in the first quarter on Mansfield and they only ran one offensive play. Returned opening kick, then got a pick 6, then scored immediately when they got the ball. They are heading down to Florida this weekend to play Cardinal Newman in West Palm Beach.

D1: No dominant teams head and shoulders above anyone. Lots of the bigtime programs lost their studs to D1 schools. Could be anyone out of Springfield Central, Central Catholic, Xaverian, St Johns prep. I will go with St. Johns. I think St. Pierre is a great coach.
D2: CM and it ain't close
D3: some good programs dropped down to D3 this year due to the new alignment. Mansfield ( we play them next), Milford, Milton, North Attleboro, Plymouth South, and Walpole are all contenders. I'll go with Milford.
D4: our division so no pick
D5: Hanover is going to run the table if they stay healthy. Foxboro is the only team with a shot.

I don't know anything about the lower divisions

Game 8: NC State @ BC 12/2 4pm

Feel like the early game thread was good mojo for Vandy.

TV: ACC Network
Line: No line yet
What does Kenpom say: BC 77-NC State 75
Will bshay21 bet it?: Yes
Where does this rank on the must win scale from "Was there any chance Derreck Whittenburg didn't take that last second shot in 1983 (Thankfully for him, an airball)" to 10: There are 20 ACC games so not critical by any means. But, we are only favored to win 9 out of 11. So, the road to 12 ACC wins doesn't necessarily include NC State but it probably does if we get there. Going 5.5.
