As many of you know, Jason Burbridge (BCFAN1984JCB) was a long time poster and huge BC sports fan. This morning, I received a text from his girlfriend that he passed away. She gave me permission to pass along the information to you all.

My son found out that he was waitlisted by BC this evening. Would anyone have any past experience and/or advice to share?
I know chances are now slim, but it is a tough pill to swallow as it was his #1 choice (applied ED but deferred) and he worked his but off all through school.

Caught the end of the FSU/Cuse. Sad to see Coach Ham move on. Great coach who get kids to graduate. Pretty solid job building up FSU into a very good program.

The selection show will announce the 2025 DI men's ice hockey championship bracket and schedule on Sunday, March 23, at 3 p.m. ET on ESPNU. BC is the #1 seed and is expected to play tonight's winner of the Bentley at Holy Cross game. BC v HC/Bentley will be in Manchester, NH.

Starting soon, colleges will be able to pay their athletes up to $20 million. For the bigger schools, they assume most of that money will towards football since that pulls in the revenue.

What about non-football schools like St. Johns? Does this give them an advantage in that they can spend a lot more money buying their basketball players?
