Marcus Smart is no longer here. In his place is a dynamic 7’3 PF who already has plantar fasciitis and will probably play like 25 games this year.

This is now Year 7 of the Jay’s. Tatum is about to enter his prime. Jaylen is still trying to learn how to dribble with someone within a 20 foot radius of him.

Brogdon is recovering from a hurt elbow and for not being able to break the Celtics’ Finals-less curse without Nesmith.

It will be a great season. Lid, bshay, and I will continue to argue like a 75 year-old married couple, Walker and Westwood will chime in to egg us on, and the Guru’s will revel in another Jaylen Brown playoff choke job masterpiece.

Oh yeah and the Celtics have a rookie who looks like Charlie Villanueva’s son. Let’s get it!

The Coinbase news yesterday was a little bit jarring. Also the collapse of the stablecoins the last few days was kind of unexpected. My small allocation in this space to Etherum is getting crushed but generally flat as of right now from my purchase date in 2021. I expect it to be down significantly before the end of the month.

Quincy Patriot Ledger reports that Sarah Behn is going to be the new women's basketball coach at Archbishop Williams. Sarah was head coach at Brown for six uneven seasons. Several of the Brown players were offended because Coach Behn recommended they skip desserts from time to time.

Just got an email that the team is being welcomed home outside Conte/Gate D around 1 tomorrow. Pretty surprised they’re not waiting until Tuesday, but I assume the girls from further away want to get the hell home after such a long year

OT because the WNBA doesn't qualify as BB in my vernacular.

I actually like Caitlin Clark and some of her college highlights were bonkers, but the coverage is like the hype on Trae Young coming out of school, but on steroids. There are only so many 28 foot bricks you can watch before you wonder whether it is still a story.
