As you guys know the NFL draft is being held in KC this year. I ended up bellying up with Neuheisel at a popular spot in KC. Ended up having dinner with him and hanging out for a couple of hours. I was surprised at how candid he was. That being said, the first thing he mentioned when I told him I was a BC fan was how restrictive the BC tailgating rules are, even before mentioning Zay Flowers. Totally surprised me. Seems like our tailgating experience is common knowledge given that, as far as I know, Neuheisel has no connection to BC.

Btw, he raved about Flowers, which is meaningful given his Ravens connection!

Interesting that 18 Colorado players entered the portal after the spring game. And many were flat out told that they were being "Cut".

I've heard of coaches telling players that "they will not play and that they might want to consider transferring", but never an outright "your cut"

And I know they are technically only 1 year renewable scholarship, but a little crazy to just kick guys off the team.
