TE Stevie Amar out of Cali. Other offers from Baylor, BYU, Arizona St., Cal, Louisville, Oregon State, SMU, Texas Tech, and Oregon St. Amar has been a top target at TE, very nice pickup.
Gotta cover the final Pats camp practice this morning so won’t have updates from BC unfortunately. I’ll be at the last 2 tomorrow & Sunday. Almost game week!
We all really appreciate Kevin's complete coverage of the Eagles throughout the pre-season. It has been fantastic.
My question, really for Kevin, is that now as we approach the games themselves, is there a danger that the transparency he has provided could somehow be helpful to our opponents? I know BOB has been generous in sharing with all of us the progress of the team by allowing real access to the team's work. We are grateful. Should that be reduced to prevent agents of other teams from learning our tendencies/plans?
For those of you that are also on the other site and that remember the days of Parcells on this site, how long do you think it will be until TeddyBall implodes on the other site and is shown the exit? I'm thinking it will be sometime in late September. I think he will be able to hold it together until the football season starts and emotions start to run a bit higher. Then he will lose it. I also predict he will lose it defending BOB when some people start to criticize him for small reasons.
Former NFL player Gosder Cherilus was arrested for allegedly causing a disturbance and disorderly conduct during a flight that was routed back to Boston Saturday night, according to reports.
Joined us for the first half hour from the parking lot of his kid's Intercity League baseball game. Can't thank him enough. Great stuff in here if you missed it live talking about the past, present and future of the program.
I have written before requesting prayers for my brother who has had pancreatic cancer for almost two years. Based on a scan yesterday that cancer has now spread to his entire liver and his care team has told him he probably has about two weeks to live. He is a proud BC alum having graduated in the late 60's.
I would appreciate prayers that his passage be as peaceful and pain free as possible. Thank you all very much.

Leave any questions here or hop in the chat tonight. Will get as many in as we can during the half hour
We’re also still looking for a sponsor for our ‘BC Breakdown’ postgame live stream this year if anyone is interested. You’d have a banner ad on our site, name in the title after each game & we can do a read for your business as well during the show. Shoot me an email (kstone2206@gmail.com) if interested
Anthony Brown, former BC QB, was cut by the Raiders on Friday, August 16. Nathan Peterman, former Pitt QB, is still with the Raiders. Brown had some good minutes with BC when he wasn't hurt.
Was in the first tour group at noon. They had us waiting on the field so they could start the tour by going through the locker room. While waiting we heard a fire alarm going off.
They wanted to replicate the gameday atmosphere, so they had a smoke machine set up at the locker room door....except they didn't turn the smoke alarms off.
Once the fire dept cleared the scene, it was a good time. Toured the locker room, football offices, Fish building and wound up watching practice on Shea Field. Good day, wish I could've stayed longer.
