I still follow the Big East, maybe force of habit or longing for the glory days of BC basketball or the fact that Fox televises almost all BE games nationally but in case you all haven’t noticed the Conference is very much alive to wit: UConn is another threat to win the national title, still winning after loss of their big man Clingan, Marquette top 10 team with amazing guard Tyler Koleck, and the sleeper to watch is St Johns, Pitino has assembled a gang of talented transfers to support Soriano and once he get his lineup sorted out the Johnnies will be a tournament threat, thinking BC’s victory over them may be in retrospect the best of the season.

Isiah Bond left Bama for Texas not because Nick Saban retired. Bond posted on Snapchat about his Lamborghini deal and $700k. Guys - it’s a whole new business model. What was once illegal is now standard operating practice.

By the way, Bond is the WR who caught the pass on 4th and 31 in the end zone to beat Auburn this year. 😁

Why doesn’t BC offer the DC job to Steve Belichick, if he doesn’t want to follow his father to Atlanta/Washington, and he isn’t named DC with the Pats, this would be a great get for BC. Don’t think he wants to leave the area! Just saying.

SAF Omar Thornton from American Heritage HS down in Plantation, FL is in town this weekend for a visit. Thornton (SR) is a Rivals 2-star recruit at outside linebacker (5'11", 187 lbs.)
