Bruins

Watched game 1, Bruins look confident and loaded for the cup chase, their top line is the best in hockey, new keeper seems good enough, liked watching Montgomery smiling on bench, followed him since UMaine, up and down career but on top now. Leaf Lightning winner may challenge maybe Vegas in west, Avs won’t repeat.

Scouting Claudell Harris

He's a bucket and shot-makers are necessary to really be an interesting team in March, so I like the addition. Not a total two-way player at this point but really came into his own offensively last year and will find ways to score even against good defenders.

South Florida tight end locks in OV with BC

Was told today that Benjamin Blackburn will be taking official visits to the following schools:

Rutgers 6/2
Boston College 6/9
Duke 6/23

We know that BC is bringing in a number of guys that first weekend in June, but typically the Eagles have consecutive OV weekends to provide time slots for everybody regardless of a potential scheduling conflict.

Blackburn is one of the better tight ends in the Sunshine State. The 6'6, 230-pound prospect from Miami (Fla.) Columbus has offers from BC, Duke, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Louisville, Michigan State, Minnesota, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.

ACC: Spring winners and losers

Nice write up for Amari Jackson.

Interesting to see Elko's vison of Duke and how far he can take them.

Interesting notes on Krubnik.

I didn't realize Armstrong is at NC State. Kid has been around the block a bit.

Dinner with Rick Neuheisel

As you guys know the NFL draft is being held in KC this year. I ended up bellying up with Neuheisel at a popular spot in KC. Ended up having dinner with him and hanging out for a couple of hours. I was surprised at how candid he was. That being said, the first thing he mentioned when I told him I was a BC fan was how restrictive the BC tailgating rules are, even before mentioning Zay Flowers. Totally surprised me. Seems like our tailgating experience is common knowledge given that, as far as I know, Neuheisel has no connection to BC.

Btw, he raved about Flowers, which is meaningful given his Ravens connection!
