Boston College hosted five official visitors last weekend: Uncommitted prospect Durante Jones and committed players Korey Smith, Andre Hines, Charlie Gordinier, and Taji Johnson.
On Jones, as of right this moment he is not a take. He could become one. But what we are hearing is that Boston College is not going to accept any commitments until they have a head coach.
I have looked into whether Jones would be willing to hold off on signing somewhere in the early period if he needed to, waiting on BC, and have not gotten a firm answer on that. Jones likes BC a lot but my guess is he ends up elsewhere. Still someone to pay attention to however.
This weekend all of BC's other commits with the exception of Jah Joyner will be visiting. He will OV to Minnesota, where he is probably most likely to end up.
