We've got a little more insight into what Boston College is looking for with the remainder of their spots available in the 2019 recruiting cycle.

It's clear BC will take a running back, with Patrick Garwo looking like the most likely (but with good backup options, as we've detailed), but there are three other positions/player types that seem to be the priority.

Based on what sources have said, BC is likely to take at least two more offensive linemen, defensive linemen and cornerbacks (or athletes who can play corner/other positions). Wouldn't be surprised if they took more than two of any/all of those guys, so the priorities are clear.

Hearing that BC will not host any visitors this weekend. There's a little bit of a lull right now. BC's coaches are out of the road during the eval period right now. The plan is to do some "spot duty" recruiting over the next two weeks, which means the staff will be out at some hot spots or checking on some key guys, but the pace will slow a little bit.

Things will heat up again on June 3rd, when BC will host its elite camp; the biggest camp event of the summer. Based on what I've heard, the expectation is a bunch of new offers and potentially a few commitments could result from that. They must know some things are in the works, or they must know with a wink and a nod the timetable some guys have in order to feel that way.

This week, four-star prospect Salim Turner-Muhammad released his five finalists and BC was one of them. I spoke with a source who has some knowledge of BC's end of things and he said it's too close to call and they wouldn't feel comfortable rendering a guess on where he will end up.
