MORE FORWARD MOTION
BC's class is currently the highest quality group of the Steve Addazio era. That's if you're going by what people close to the program are saying. Program insiders are absolutely thrilled about the class the Eagles are putting together, and that's in spite of the fact that there has been some uncertainty about what Danny Dalton plans to do long-term.
Speaking of Dalton, a note on tight ends -- with Ray Marten, Jay Rose and Luke Farrell on the board, is there really any cause for concern at that tight end position?
You want to keep the local kids home, but consider: Marten's a TE/DE/Jumbo athlete that loves BC and is already an offer kid. Rose is a QB/ATH/TE and the staff has been high on him for some time, particularly for his athleticism. And Farrell's a four-star from Ohio that probably favors Ohio State but said over the weekend that BC is one of the schools he wants to visit.
There's a ton to follow, and here's more.
Anthony Brown was offered by BC over the weekend and he probably instantly takes over as the most likely QB for the Eagles in the '16 class. The New Jersey signal caller has known Jon Hilliman and Elijah Robinson for some time and he's telling me his interest in BC is very high. He thinks the offense will fit him very well. This is a kid that wants to be thought of as a pass-first dual-threat so he probably likes Todd Fitch's renewed emphasis on the air attack.
I spoke with Koby Quansah about his visit and he said both he and his mother liked it a lot. His mom has actually been to BC multiple times and this trip was about a lot more than football, although Don Brown talked about plenty of that- especially Quansah's role as the would-be Sam linebacker.
Quansah wants to visit Duke, possibly Stanford, and Michigan. He was at Duke recently. I would not write off the Blue Devils.
