It seems that what JR said was more or less accurate. The coaches knew (well, thought) these defections were going to happen, and seemingly weren't actively trying to really talk anyone out of it.
Seems these were players disgruntled with this offensive scheme, the results, and their playing time/usage. Seems the coaches felt these were young men confused about how hard it is to win at this level and the commitment necessary to do so.
Players had attitudes. Things like Louis playing didn't help.
With Sdaz its attitude AND results. Results alone don't start here. This is a theme I've heard before.
