Ronald Jeffrey Brace, III of Springfield, Massachusetts transitioned to his final resting place on Saturday, April 24, 2016. Born on December 18, 1986 in Springfield, Massachusetts, he graduated from Burncoat High School in Worcester, Massachusetts and Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. A former defensive tackle for the New England Patriots, he was drafted 40th overall in the 2009 NFL Draft. He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Ronald J. Brace, Jr., his mother, Vonda Lewis, siblings; Nicholl (Michael) Young, Natasha Brace, Marquis Henry Brace, Christopher Mckenzie, Nastasia Mckenzie and Michael Mckenzie, one niece; Brooklyn Brace, one nephew; Maxwell Young, and; many, many family members and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at St. John’s Congregational Church, 45 Hancock St., Springfield, MA 01109, on Monday, May 2, 2016. Calling hours are at 10:00 AM with funeral service at 12:00 PM. Followed by burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in Springfield, MA. Henderson Funeral Home is in charge of all professional services.
