Seems like last week some of you enjoyed the detail with highlights, results and notes on how BC commits fared so I will stick to basically the same format.

Walled Lake Western and quarterback Sam Johnson III are now 2-1 with two consecutive blowout wins after downing Kettering 43-7 last week. Still waiting for exact stats on the Western game but Johnson accounted for four touchdowns in Western's 35-0 win against Milford the previous week.

Stephen Lubischer's Red Bank Catholic team is 2-0 after blowing out Ocean Township 40-7 over the weekend. Through two games Lubischer has completed 16/20 passes for 251 yards, a touchdown and no picks. On the ground he has 10 carries, 102 yards and four additional touchdowns.

In Red Bank Catholic's most recent game he was 7/8 for 94 yards through the air and had two rushing touchdowns.

As mentioned earlier this week in the Rundown, Patrick Garwo topped the 200 yard mark and it came in a 41-14 win at William Penn Charter in Philadelphia. Egan is 3-0. Total: 214 yards on 20 carries, two touchdowns and also a 12-yard receiving touchdown.

Cheshire Academy (Conn.) and Bryce Sebastian lost their first game against the Hun School 16-14 over the weekend in New Jersey.

And here's a good story on the Sebastian brothers from this week.

Annapolis (Md.) Broadneck is 2-0 after defeating North County 35-0 and Ethon Williams had three touchdown receptions in the game. Most impressively, all three (12, 20 and 26 yards) were in the first quarter to make the game 21-0 and lopsided right from the start.

The season started poorly for Jack Conley's New Canaan (Conn.) team: a 28-0 loss to Trumbull (Conn.) St. Joseph on the road. Here are Conley's highlights.

Wayne (N.J.) DePaul Catholic (OL Blerim Rustemi) is 2-0 with a pair of blowouts, the most recent being a 49-3 drubbing of Seton Hall Prep on the road. DePaul Catholic is averaging 270 yards per game through the air (8 touchdowns) and 180 per on the ground (4 touchdowns), so the line is doing its part.

Here's Rustemi from the previous week against Pope John XXIII.

As mentioned this week, Miami Central and OL Maurice Smith dropped a 37-34 5 overtime game to Washington (D.C.) St. John's.

New Monmouth (N.J.) Mater Dei, home to BC commits Izaiah Henderson and Shitta Sillah, is 3-0 after blowing out Matawan Regional 35-0. Those two defensive players have helped a unit that has allowed only eight points in three games.

Cincinnati (Ohio) Elder lost its first game, 21-13 to Clarkson Football North (from Ontario), 21-13. Spencer Bono highlights are below.

Upper Arlington (Ohio) is 1-2 after dropping one to Winton Woods out of Cincinnati 52-45. It's been a crazy season for UA apparently. They lost to Reynoldsburg 17-14 to start the season then won a dramatic 49-42 game against Findlay. All their games have been close right up til the end.

Here are Jackson Ness's highlights against Winton Woods.

Jalen Williams has helped Landon School to a 2-0 record with victories against Whitman (42-7) and St. Mary's (40-3). Don't have exact stats but here is his highlight reel from the most recent win against St. Mary's.

Tampa (Fla.) Plant and Romain Mungin dropped one to Armwood (21-18) and is now 2-1. Mungin's updated senior highlights were posted yesterday.

I wish I had exact stats for Belleville (Mich.) linebacker Marvin Ham because he's supposed to be playing at a very high level but he's helped his team to a 3-0 record. These highlights aren't specific to him but are a game recap.

I'm also told that even though Cleveland (Ohio) St. Ignatius is just 1-2 (having notched its first win of the year, 21-6 against Euclid), Tommy Eichenberg has played at a high level, too.
