I did this event last year and was able to raise a good chunk of money for kids with cancer. I am back at it again supporting my friend and colleague whose daughter was diagnosed 2 years ago when she was 3 years old. Many of you have been generous in the past so I thought I'd put it out there for anyone who has the means to help. No pressure if you can't contribute. My dad has had cancer back and forth for the last 6 years and that has been difficult enough to deal with. (He is clear for now). I have a daughter the same age as my friend and can't imagine the pain it causes. I would run to raise money but it turns out I am much better at having my head shaved than running on my bum knees and ankles.
