Today Boston College offered Matt Sichterman, a 6-foot-5, 266-pound offensive tackle from King Mills, Ohio. They're far from the first in doing so. Sichterman has offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Nebraska, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers, Wake Forest and West Virginia among others. I've heard from several people now that his offer list will grow a lot more and probably in the near future. BC's offer is right in line with that.
He's a bit leaner now but should fill out pretty quickly. Comes from a school that doesn't put out a ton of Division I players but also the kind of kid who might be receptive to BC's pitch.
