- Rhode Island has had the upper hand in recent years, winning the last two games in the series and five of the last six meetings overall.
- The Rams are 7-17 overall when on the road against the Eagles
- Last season, the teams met twice in a span of four days. Rhode Island won 57-49 at home in the Ryan Center on Nov. 17, then again 71-65 at the Sunshine Slam in Daytona, Fla. on Nov. 21.
