Come on there has to be a lot of golf nuts out there that view this as the true Easter week? Couple thoughts leading up to it:

1. It was developed over many years but I have come up with a tier system for golf event viewing for my family. Just a handy cheat sheet so we are on the same page. Masters is a tier 1A. What does this mean? It means I will be watching Brandel Chamblee at night during Live from The Masters break down swing changes in golfers 20 years apart. It means I have a big X in my calendar and will have it on in every tv/computer in the house as I unsuccessfully try to work. Weekends I will be only leaving the house for life threatening medical emergencies that are not my own, which I will try to gut through. Absolutely do not schedule any family events and do not even consider my presence at child #3s buddy's bouncy house party when he was younger. I, genuinely, put in 1000s of hours every year into family time but this is a sacred weekend.

2. If you like golf, you must go once to the Masters. Of all the events I have been to in many years, it is #1 by far. You cannot imagine what it is like. Every single detail is incredible. And, rare in 2025, no cell phones on the property. I was watching the final four and it was wild how many times it was a crucial moment and half the stands was looking at their phone. Wherever you are looking at shots on the course, everyone is focused on the same thing. Get the egg salad sandwich, pimento cheese sandwich, chicken biscuit for breakfast, and the peach ice cream sandwich. That will set you back $9 this year which is $15 less than the water bottle and sandwich I got at Logan last week.

3. On to the bets. Fun event to take some shots with nice payout:
- Hideki/Henly/Conners/Straka Top 20 parlay. 27/1
-Hideki to win 30/1
-Phil top 10 7/1
-Phil Top LIV player 21/1
-Corey Conners to win without Scottie/Rory (meaning top finisher without including those two). 40/1
-Daniel Berger to win without Scottie/Rory 70/1
-Macintyre/Lowry/Bryson/Berger top 20 parlay 25/1
-Bryson to win 40/1
-Corey Conners first round leader 55/1
-Robert Macintyre FRL 50/1
-Sepp Straka to win without Rory/Scheffler 55/1
-Angel Cabrera to make cut. +350

I stole these from a few of the guys I listen to for a couple minutes every week. Hit on Hovland a few weeks ago at 60/1 so a little cash to burn on the best event of the year. Sneaky little fact that Phil finished T2 here just two years ago and is playing pretty well. Angel Cabrera, fresh out of prison, is somehow only 55 years old and just won on the Champions tour last week. Feel free to steal any of them as I did. Those guys do the homework I am unwilling to do and have been pretty good over the years.

May all your calendars be clear until Sunday night.
