Returning to his spot at wide receiver is 6-2 senior Mike Palmer. Simply stated, Palmer is a freak! Having already proved that he is the best athlete in New York State by winning the pentathlon in the 2015 New York State Track and Field championships, Palmer can do it all - Runs fast - check, jumps really high - check, is super agile – check, is one heck of a stellar football player with some of the finest hands in the section – check and check mate! But that’s not all folks; Mike proved that he can play with the best football players in New York State as well. Carding big stats at the most critical moments on defense in his sophomore season, Palmer showed that he was no fluke in a starting position even as a young guy on an already well established team. Last year as a junior he was simply invaluable. In 2015, now a fully seasoned leader with a lot more physical strength fueling his ridiculousness, the stage is set for Palmer to display some serious offensive fireworks come Friday.
