Just read in the Boston Globe that there are a large number of Massachusetts players in the men’s tournament.Looking at the great success of the women’s team,BC would seem like a school that can build a strong program given that we draw kids from Baltimore to Boston and from private schools and communities where lacrosse is played.Is it at all possible to establish a non-club,scholarship team?If we add another women’s sport,can we add a men’s team?Is there a an existing men’s team we should drop?Just see this as a sport where we can excell and be of real championship quality.Similar to ice hockey.It’s a lot tougher in baseball and the big revenue sports as we’ve witnessed.Just curious.
