I love the headline ... "Houston Texans agree to release JJ Watt at his request". This goes back to the guaranteed versus non-guaranteed discussion on another thread. This is good PR for both sides and I'm sure Watt will get signed somewhere, but there was no way the Texans were either not drastically restructuring his contract or cutting him since he was due to make $17.5M this year. Great player at his peak and healthy, but he has been a shadow of his former self for the past two years.
