Is it possible to make a fair and accurate evaluation of a QB when they have to play behind such a weak offensive line ? I say no. I have never seen so many negative plays in my life. The vast majority due to terrible line play. I'm no fan of the constant first down run myself but we used to see 2nd & 7 or 2nd & 8. Somewhat manageable. Now its 2nd & 11 or 2nd &13 and the QB is behind the 8 ball. Pass on first down to loosen things up ? I'm all for it. Can't do anything deep at all because the OL can't give any time. Tough even to go to your second read because 2 or 3 people are coming at you. I honestly don't know what we have at QB. It's been a lost year.
