Flores has had a Belicek rise through the ranks with the Patriots. He is now the Safeties coach. He has paid his dues and is on an upward track. Is he ready for a DC position yet? Only Brian and Belicek know the answer to that. Does he have higher aspirations? If so then a move to BC might be appropriate. But he is in the biggest of the big time right now. And being an assistant coach for Belicek is pretty far up the food chain. Might a college DC be a step back? Wonder what he is making.
BTW: Matt Patricia moved up the ranks just like Flores and before he became DC of the Pats he was the Safeties Coach.
