BC wants to push to recruits success of Jackson especially and Hanlan starting this season in the NBA. Regardless of a recruits true NBA prospects......very slim....the success in developing NBA talent is what catches recruits attention. In HS, they all believe they will be playing in the NBA someday..so you are selling fiction, but everyone does it. . Success of BC players on the next level is the best advertisement you can give the staff when they hit the road to recruit. You have Hanlan in Utah, that gives you two active NBA guards you can point to and say, "hey, this could be you in a few years"....which is what all these kids want to hear. Problem, of course, is you also need the pure talent of a Jackson and Hanlan to to get there.
