Need help from parents of recent applicants: Grandson is junior at Ignatius HS in Chicago, attending a summer program for possible applicants at the Heights, know he already wants to attend BC but I’ve read the recent rejection rates and this kid is probably an average student in advance placement programs, board scores not available. My question concerns tuition, his Dad is a land developer in Chicagoland and can easily pay full tuition and won’t apply for any aid. Know the company line is this doesn’t matter but wonder if it’s really true. Any thoughts appreciated.
