Roll your eyes all you want, but it's 2020 and it's time to start researching who the next Head Coach of Boston College Basketball will be after this season is over. Shocker, Jim Christian is still an incompetent coach, so Martin Jarmond should be shopping for a new one come March. The guys I'm keeping an eye on for the rest of the season (in alphabetical order so don't go thinking it's some kind of endorsement in order):

John Becker - UVM
In his 9th year at UVM. 203-89 (.695) overall and 107-21 (.836) in conference in his career. 3 NCAA Tournament bids, never finished below 3rd in league.

Nathan Davis - Bucknell
In his 5th year at Bucknell. 94-54 (.635) overall and 59-14 (.808) in conference. 2 NCAA Tournament bids. Has finished first in the Patriot league each year he has been there.

Steve Forbes - East Tennessee State
In his 5th year at ETSU. 113-41 (.734) overall and 57-17 (.770) in conference. 1 NCAA tournament bid. Never done worse than 13-5 in conference.

Earl Grant - Charleston
In his 6th year at Charleston. 111-71 (.610) overall and 55-39 (.585) in conference. 1 NCAA Tournament bid.

Martin Inglesby - Delaware
In his 4th year at Delaware. 54-58 (.482) overall and 19-35 (.352) in conference. Took over a Delaware program that was among the worst in the nation and seems to be on the path to a steady rebuild (5 conference wins in year 1, then 6 then 8). Off to a 10-3 start this year.

Matt McMahon - Murray State
In his 5th year at Murray State. 90-44 (.672) overall and 50-18 (.735) in conference. 2 NCAA Tournament bids. Finished first in the conference 3 out of his 4 years.

Wes Miller - UNC Greensboro
In his 9th year at UNC Greensboro. 153-120 (.560) overall and 85-56 (.603) in conference. 2 NCAA tournament bids. Finished 1st or 2nd in conference each of the last 3 years.

Scott Nagy - Wright State
Built the Horizon League dynasty at South Dakota State. Now in his 4th year at Wright State. 79-39 (.670) overall at Wright State and 41-16 (.719) in conference. 1 NCAA Tournament bid at Wright State, 4 Tournament bids overall.

Ryan Odom - UMBC
In his 4th year at UMBC. 74-44 (.627) overall and 32-16 (.667) in conference. 1 NCAA tournament bid. Coached the biggest upset in the history of college basketball

Joe Pasternack - UC Santa Barbara
In his third year in Santa Barbara. 58-23 (.716) overall and 21-11 (.656) in conference.

Bob Richey - Furman

Russel Turner - UC Irvine
In his 10th year in Irvine. 196-135 (.592) overall and 98-48 (.671) in conference. 2 NCAA Tournament bids. 4 time Big West regular season champion. Has finished either 1st or 2nd in the league each of the last 6 years.
