** Doesn't know why the team came out lethargic but you could tell that was the case. Sometimes as head coach you have to take responsibility for things you have no answer for.

** Had some good practices and didn't see it coming. Tried a bunch of combinations and defenses. When you don't play hard that doesn't matter. Still has total confidence in team but didn't come with intensity and effort they needed. He's sure there are reasons but sometimes you don't see things coming.

** Karnik's effort and attitude were great. He's used to finishing against longer, more athletic guys. Rebounded pretty well and contributed. "It's got to spread. It can't be one guy, two guys. It's got to be everybody. They have to fight for one another." Hurtful and embarrassing how they played today.

** Losing cutters. Guys not communicating. A step off the pace on every area. Really poor defensively. They have to take ownership of it.

** Christian said for the first 10 minutes they got shots they should make against the zone. The misses impacted them. Saw them hang head and not sprint back. That's not who they want to be. "Can't let offense dictate effort level." Were looking for any combination to spark them and couldn't find it.

** Tea is heading into finals so don't have a ton of time to practice. They do need that. Need to recreate identity they were creating earlier in the year. Had chance to win on the road at Minnesota. Took some strides and this was a big setback.

** Not just Winston's job to spark the team. Was looking for effort and something from everybody. When opponents take something away someone else has to step up. Wynston is old but he's still inexperienced.
