In today's SportsLog column in the Globe: "An email that Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby sent late last month to University of Houston president Renu Khator says the conference has 'finalized our procedures for consideration of potential' new members." Not sure what significance this has. If the email was sent only to Houston, does that mean that Houston is in?
