  1. In some ways, this game was SOOO frustrating. There were stretches where we just looked asleep out there. And then there were stretches where we looked great. Very typical of a young team, but so hard to watch at times. We have some talent, we just need to learn to play 40 minutes of intense basketball and not turn the ball over on such stupid plays. Stat sheet says 12 turnovers, but it feels like Miami got 24+ points off those turnovers. And we *really* need to stop swiping at the ball when guys are going in for layups. We gave up a ton of +1's on stupid reaches in the game. Play good defense and keep the guy in front of you. But if he gets by you, don't give him an easy +1 - foul him hard or let him go.
  2. In other ways, this game was very encouraging. JRob was totally stinking it up in the first half, and yet we still had a chance to win the game. When are we going to learn to shoot on the road? The final numbers look okay but that was only because of the crazy shots down the stretch. We really sucked shooting the ball for most of that game.
  3. AJ needs to continue to build his confidence. He carried the team back to within striking distance early in the second half and then disappeared again. I think he actually surprised himself and then started overthinking his shots. Just go up with confidence AJ. You are 6'8" and long - you can get your shot up without rushing it. And Bowman just needs to figure out what he should do when teams are focused on him. When he comes off a pick and roll and two guys pick him up, he isn't sure what to do. I think that will come with time.
