Although I think we (BC fans) just look for something to bitch and complain about, I still don't understand the love story the press has with UConn football.
From Courant: Here's the thing. The Huskies should be very good next year. All their big skill players on offense are underclassmen. There is more skill coming. If the Huskies challenge for the league title, Diaco would be a much hotter commodity. You can dead-end at Syracuse. Heck, Edsall hit a dead end at Maryland.
I know, we will lose by one-hundred and join the patriot Conference.
OT comment:
As a BC grad ('86) I have lived through the highs (Flutie, etc.) and the lows (Spaz, etc.), but have always been fortunate to have something more to look forward to than BC football. Don't get me wrong, even though I live in Atlanta, I still make at least one game every year. However, this constant complaining is unbelievable. Win 8, should have won 9 --coach stands still with no emotion, coach yells too much -- potential new practice facility -- it will probably suck, etc, etc, etc.
If you don't want to donate, don't; if you don't like the on-field product, don't watch, etc.
