Todd Fitch is following former Louisville quarterback Will Gardner on Twitter and former Kentucky quarterback Patrick Towles is following Steve Addazio.
Per what I've heard BC has not done anything to initiate contact to indicate interest. They haven't reached out. But I can tell you that they're going to keep their eyes open and leave possibilities for themselves.
Because I also cover Kentucky I can share some 'expertise' in the case of Towles if any of you are interested. He's 6'5, 240, runs probably a 4.6 and was on Mel Kiper's Big Board for underclassmen quarterbacks this year. Accuracy is an issue and consistency is, too, but he's a phenomenal athlete for his size, has a very strong arm, would be a senior that could start many places right away, and is looking for a prestigious school (this is per an impeccable source in this situation). I've got it from good authority that he's interested in Duke and wanted to hear from Texas as well (Charlie Strong recruited him a bit when he was at Louisville), and I wouldn't be shocked if BC would be a school he would consider. Towles' numbers were not good this year and some of that is his fault but I can also tell you that they had some issues with attitude and let's call them 'intangible' factors with some receivers and I wouldn't fault Towles for that.
