Here are their records, covering my era. I would say those who had a .600 winning percentage were the successful ones.

Three questions:
Was Leahy a traitor when he left?
Was Jags really the second best?
Should Bicknell be a the top of those who didn't make .600?

Note, I think Denny Myers' record is a compilation of his two terms. I remember the second term as years of great anticipation and great disappointment.

Observation: Eleven coaches have winning records; five do not.
