I'll be in Ohio over the weekend of week 3. The following games are more or less equidistant from my location. Which game do you go to and why?
1) BC at VT: Part of the why on this is a no-brainer, and for me too. If we win at GT or lose in some other way this is all a moot point. I've never been to Lane and would like to check it out. Unlike games at Alumni, the 3:30 start time is appealing as I could make the game and not get up at the butt crack of dawn. I am really, really not a morning person. But here's the thing: I am very much against (as is the old lady) the idea of me attending an away game and witnessing us lose via Sdaz turtle. Anyone on here going to that one?
2) FSU at Louisville: I tend to favor this one for obvious reasons. Its a bit of a further drive than the BC game, but not enough to really matter. The noon start time thing is harsh. If this was a night game its a complete no-brainer. Unlike Lane, I have no real interest in seeing Papa John's stadium, but this one looks to be a barn burner with ACC/CFB playoff implications. And Lamar Jackson vs. Deondre Francois should be good. And I missed our FSU game last year (Wedding, grrrr) so I'm owed an FSU view. Anyone been the Ville? Thoughts?
3) Colorado at Michigan: 3:30 start time, but also a little further than BC, but again, not enough to matter and even less of a big deal with the 3:30 kickoff. I've been to the Big House, but never as an adult. I'd love to see it through adult eyes, and get some good pics. Harbaugh, Brownie, Peppers. Good stuff. And Colorado looks to be pretty vastly improved and I've always had a thing for the Buffs (Sal Aunese, Ralphie, Mork+Mindy).
What say you? I'm in a bit of a quandary.
