The defense was top notch tonight, the DL made Golston move all over the place just to keep us off his ass. The DBs did a great job as well, I was worried we'd get burnt on the deep ball and they stepped up!
As for the offense, this has to be the most unorganized, uninspired offensive performance I've seen under Addazio. What the hell was going through his mind? Since when did we become an I formation offense? Since when did we keep our best pass catchers like Outlow on the bench? I ate my crow on Jeff Smith after last week so why did they keep Wade in so long and when they did use Smith, they took him right back out? Hell I'm okay with starting either Smith or Flutie at this moment, just be honest with yourself about what the hell we are on offense. I honestly hope the OL takes a good look at Wade in the locker room and collectively pulls their heads out of their asses, the took a shot from an UNTOUCHED D-lineman. I cringed watching that hit.
Now we're limbo as we get NIU next who hopefully gets the life beaten out of them by Ohio State, where do we go from here?
