We've all been complaining about how ineffective the offense has been operating as of recent and with good reason. 7 points over 3 conference games (all in 1 game) is completely unacceptable but where do they go from here? Word on the street is Smith gets the start going forward, I knew this was coming and I'm just glad it sounds like the QB swapping is coming to an end. Now the question remains, what are they capable of? Smith is an obvious DT with the speed to create explosive plays and Gowins appears to be the power back we need in place of Hilliman, regardless of the fumble. Outlow, Alston, and Wolford all have the pass catching ability out of the backfield and slot if needed to spread things out. Callinan, Walker, and Robinson appear to able to run simple slants and post routes to keep things simple in the passing game.
Now the question is, what is your game plan? Not what is likely to happen, I've heard enough complaining so save that for another thread. What do you feel we can make happen given the pieces in place?
