What Did Dabo Swinney Say About BC?

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney met with the media Tuesday, ahead of the No. 25 Tigers' date with Boston College.
Most of the questions directed to Swinney were about Clemson's surprising 2-2 start, offensive struggles and defensive injuries, but he did get a few about BC.
Here's what the two-time national champion head coach said about the Eagles.
Opening Statement:
“This is a good football team across the board. One of their kickers got hurt in camp, but their punter’s a good player—he’s got a big average. Again, it’s almost a mirror image of what we saw last week from a veteran, knowledge, experience standpoint. Different in some of the schemes that they run, but very, very experienced, very confident group. They’ll be confident coming in here. We had a tough fight with them last year. They were up. Turned the ball over, did not play well defensively early, and then we did a great job in the second half, coming back and winning the game. Looking forward to it, gonna be a great matchup. We’re gonna have to play a lot better than we played last week.”
Q: What stands out to you about [Jeff] Hafley as a schemer, not just from last year but also against Ohio State in '19?
“They’re simple in what they do. They just believe in it. And they’re really good at it. They got a scheme, they believe in it and they execute it very, very well. They’re great fundamentally. They do a great job with their eyes. They understand where their stress points are. And, again, just very well coached.”
Q: I know Georgia and N.C. State were both pretty stout up front, but when you look at Boston College’s offensive front, it looks like they kind of have five NFL prospects…
“They’re all starters. They’ve got All-ACC guys back. They’ve got a couple preseason All-American dudes. I mean, they’re massive. And when you’ve got guys that have played a lot of football, they know all the nuances: the ins and the outs. They’re crafty. That’s what comes with experience. … they’re a really, really cohesive unit. And downhill. Downhill. So we’ve got a big challenge.”
