There's a good thread on the Hockey board. It's the same theme as discussed here many times regarding football games and more than anywhere else, it's a theme seen at basketball games. I'm referring to the apathy shown in supporting the sports teams by BC students. I doubt that anyone will deny that BC students are among the weakest fans when comparing them to other teams in our leagues, the question is what can be done ?
It seems that the solution probably lies in the admissions process - i.e. the kids being admitted now care a lot less about sports than those who attended BC with you all (I'm not a BC grad). If I'm correct, can this problem be fixed ?
