Urban Meyer threw out the first pitch Friday night and the Ohio State coach said the New York area was important to recruiting.
The defending national champion head coach added he wouldn’t mind playing a game at Yankee Stadium.
“[Boston College head coach] Steve Addazio is a good friend of mine and played in the [Pinstripe Bowl] last year and said this is one of the best experiences he’s ever had,” Meyer said. “I think that’d be a really cool opportunity to play in Yankee Stadium.”
Of course, if the Buckeyes ended up in Pinstripe Bowl, Meyer and Ohio State likely wouldn’t consider it “a really cool opportunity.”
