Eagle Action can confirm that Boston College is expecting to host two official visitors this weekend: Isaiah Farris and Robert Harris, both defensive back prospects.

Boston College only signed one defensive back in the early signing period and you may recall at the time we said that was not a concern because the sense is they can get a good reception from a guy they really like and they didn't want to take someone just to take someone.

Robert Harris was previously committed to Western Kentucky. He earned an offer from West Virginia State after a strong 7 on 7 tournament up that way over the summer but has largely remained under the radar since then.

Several days ago BC assistant coach Aazaar Abdul-Rahim had an in-home visit with Harris.

WKU, FAU, Charlotte, and WV State are the schools that have offered. Harris did at least take a visit to Penn State last year.

Getting him on campus will allow the coaches to size him up and find out if he could be a good fit.

Harris has run track at the high school level in addition to playing football.

Farris has other offers from Colorado, Syracuse, Marshall, and FIU.

Last year, in 2020, Farris led Cardinal Gibbons with three picks.

Farris is a dangerous return man and showed that this past season so that's something he could bring to the table at the next level as well.

While Harris has not announced an offer from Boston College the Eagles extended an offer to Farris about a week ago. That would be the main difference in practical terms going into this weekend.

Could be a situation where they want to see what Farris is going to do or they could decide to try and take both.
