1. Defense looked very impressive, I mean I know it was Maine, but still they were getting pressure, coverage was good and for the most part containment was as well.
2. O-Line needs to step up, I mean the pass protection and run blocking was sub par to put it nicely, got away with it somewhat today especially in 4th quarter but in two weeks that's not gonna cut it at all.
3. Rouse very impressive, breaking those two big td runs late, definitely outplayed Hilliman in my opinion.
4. What was up with Sherm, I know someone posted about this earlier but made 2 bad decisions on punt returns, one that almost resulted in a turnover, and dropped a handful of balls. Just not a good day for him.
5. Great to see the Swiggart TD, especially with all he's gone through, feel really good for the kid.
6. Lastly, great to see such strong support from the students even against a team like Maine, hope they keep it up, hard time saying that about the general crowd though, felt dead at times to me, probably in part due to offensive struggles, but just no real electricity for this opener.
