The staff likes our linebackers a lot and despite a lack of starters returning other than Daniels, this a very good group and will perform well in Brown’s defensive schemes. Jimmy Martin enrolled early and seems to be a star in the making. Strachan came out of Saint Sebatain's which is a huge leap to High Division One football. Hopefully, the game will slow down for him this year. Milano could have a break out year. Unfortunately, we are probably going to really have to depend on the defense early on until the offense starts to click. In particular, the linebacker and defensive lineman are going to have to be huge against Florida State.

Simmons is really good. NFL first three to four rounds good. I think Johnson, Moore, Dawson and Yiadom all have great potential at Cornerback. Watch out for McClary, Lezzer and Seward at Safety. I think this is ultimately going to be strength in 2015. We are a little thin at Safety so one or two of the freshman may see the field.

Coach Brown loves his defensive linemen. He is hoping to not have to blitze to put pressure on the quarterback. I see this group as still being good against the run. If we win the flip, Adazzio wants to kick off pretty much for the whole season. If we win against the better teams on our schedule, our defensive line is going to have to win the line of scrimmage period. By the way, I love our defensive line recruits. Even with all the talent coming back, it is going to be hard not to play these guys. All three could play on Sundays.

I have no insights on this other than our place kicking better be better than last year. Our punting should be pretty good again.
