It's the stench of a losers mentality. It permeates the entire program. They are used to losing. Until they gain some confidence it will hang over this team like a cloud. The kids aren't losers but as a group they just don't know how to win. The staff doesn't help. Playing safe not to lose football tells the players they aren't trusted.
