Is that Syracuse was just begging you to let them go home. Begging you. They brought nothing to the game. They had lost 5 straight and essentially quitting on the end of the season. We have the worst DL in the country and Syracuse let us go to boot camp on him in the first half. Physically Syracuse was a no show. Mentally they are committing penalties at a comical clip, somehow turning first and goal into 4th and 35. Mentally it was a no show.
Then they are down 11 at their own 10 yard line on 3rd and forever and they officially lay down their sword. They don’t even bother protecting their qb who throws the ball 25 yards into the stands. Game over. What you want to be morons and hit the qb in the face.. just hang in there we are going to give it another try. We are going to lob a ball to your safety. Literally have him put a fair catch sign up we won’t get in the way. Just let us get out of here. Ok so now he doesn’t want to play along?
