Thanks to those who contributed to the thread tracking visitors from social media posts earlier in the day. I spoke with a source about the guys who showed up and got some good information.

Ben Petrula: Clearly one of BC's top offensive line targets and hails from St. Peter's Prep. One good sign, I heard, was that he showed up at the Heights wearing a Boston College hat. Apparently he and his father took the train up and they both definitely seemed like they were having a good time. I'm told the visit went pretty well. No commitment but they're definitely solidified near or even at the top of his list, I'd have to say.

Jamain Stephens: I'm told this kid is just massive. One of the biggest kids who has visited BC in a long time. He would need to transform his body some, but he's not so big that they would write him off because for his size he apparently moves pretty well on film, in the opinion of people that matter in the program. Apparently he's got like a size 19 shoe and huge hands, so although he's "only" 6-foot-1 it's believed he's probably going to continue getting taller. He's a legit target. May need to camp, but as a source told me, "You can never have too many good interior defnsive linemen," and it's a really hard spot to recruit. LINK: Hudl page here.

Darryl McDaniel: Came up from St. John's College High and I'm told he was a good-looking kid and definitely a prospect BC will be interested in. He was right at 5-foot-11 and I heard 185 pounds, so he's got sufficient size to play in the defensive backfield in the ACC. Apparently the visit went well and he showed good initiative in getting up there. LINK: Hudl page here.

Mike Marinelli: Kid from Staten Island that Boston College really likes, although he will probably need to camp in order to be offered. But he's definitely someone who could be an offer guy down the road. He's a defensive end who could play defensive tackle. I think he's probably right around 255 pounds. Could get bigger. Micah Awodiran: He made the trip from Chicago and I spoke with him tonight so much more coming in a really nice update with good quotes. Really loves the Boston area and Chestnut Hill in particular, and they really had a thorough and organized visit that left him feeling very good about Boston College. I like their chances as of today. He's probably 6-foot-1 and in the 205-210 ballpark. I'm told he has good size. He stopped by yesterday and he stopped by again in the morning. He's a kid who has good grades and I'm told he could be a really good fit.

Everett Wormley: Receiver from Burlington Township in New Jersey who has a good ceiling and is the kind of player BC wants to continue upgrading the position. He was probably 6-feet, 190 to 195 pounds. Boston College helped themselves by offering early.

Patrick Brown and Ben Miles (Les Miles' son) visit tomorrow.

Brown's a 6-foot-5, 230-pound tight end from San Diego (Calif.) Cathedral Catholic, the same school as quarterback Tate Haynes (who was just offered by BC) as well as BC defensive lineman Ray Smith.
