September 1 is the start of a different phase in the recruiting process. BC's coaches are planning to hit the road starting the second week in September, I'm hearing. They will inform their top targets that they will be in the stands at some of their games. They will not go into the high schools but will be at the games. I'm hearing there is a pool of 2016's (don't have the 'who' right now) that 'may be of interest' and they will also be visiting a lot of top local 2017 targets.

Recently, I was given some more information on top local targets of interest.

I know Jordan McAfee, Blake Gallagher and AJ Dillon have offers.

Then there's a group like Michael Silva, Kevin Mensah, Austin Burton and Ryan Reagan -- these guys are going to be under the microscope.

All four of those players camped this summer, I'm told. None have offers. The one that was really singled out to me as being "really impressive" when he camped was actually Reagan. Here is his Hudl.com tape. He's a 6-foot-3, 205-pound receiver/athlete.

Burton visited last Saturday and was there for the scrimmage. Mensah visited the previous Friday, the same time as New York two-way lineman Ethan Wiederkehr.

If you ask for my take I'll say a good goal would be landing two of three between McAfee, Gallagher and Dillon, and then in the long run it's very likely that at least of those four other names earn offers.
