Got it from good authority that Tremayne Anchrum is one of the offensive linemen BC is still taking a good hard look at from the Class of 2016. He's from Powder Springs (Ga.) McEachern.
This edition of The Rundown will focus exclusively on the Eagles' recruiting efforts in Georgia.
Beyond Anchrum the most significant work that BC is putting in -- led by Al Washington -- is with Class of 2017 targets.
Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett linebacker Drew Jordan is someone we've got an update on today and though he's visited Clemson and Duke so far this fall he's also planning to get to BC sooner rather than later.
Connor Heyward is an athlete from Peachtree Ridge and the son of deceased former Pitt player and NFL standout Ironhead Heyward. He doesn't seem 'too' attached to Pitt so that's interesting as a possibility.
J.R. Pace is a College Park (Ga.) Woodward Academy athlete with several offers to his credit. To my knowledge I don't think BC has offered, but they're probably close if they haven't.
Then there's dual-threat QB/athlete Ryan Glover, also from Woodward Academy, who is apparently another player the BC staff likes.
Chase Brice is a four-star quarterback that's very much a pro-style and though he's got a lot of action going on recruiting-wise with some big-name programs he's a player that BC isn't giving up on.
Ellison Hubbard -- lineman (DL either a DE or DT) from Loganville (Ga.) Grayson that the staff likes.
Malik Robinson is a linebacker that I don't think that I've mentioned, but I'm hearing he's one of the Eagles' top linebacker targets in '16 beyond the locals like Gallagher & Mason.
Leonard Warner - Here's a big-time four-star kid that is apparently listening to BC's message with some interest.
