the bottom line is, BC (athletically speaking), didn't really capitalize on the Flutie/early-mid 80s

run of the football, nor the basketball teams' successs...and, then, much the same for the 90's in basketball and for the Matty Ice years (when I personally stated, several times, that we better take advantage of the success we had in the first five ACC years, because, if we we don't, we'll be getting bitch slapped when FSU and Clemson regain their strength)....little did I know, that those two scools would be the least of our worries. Now, most alumni would be happy to be 3-5 in the ACC, with wins over Cuse, Wake, Duke, UVA, etc. (and, most would be ecstatic with 6 ACC hoop victories...

What in the hell happened? How could the Admin be so greedy, as to take all of the "Flutie" and "ACC" money, and at least not spend it "fairly" on the programs which made BC the money in the first place....

It's called, typical Boston area thinking, when it relates to athletics...3rd rate!
