Talk about it in The Eagles Nest
Over the weekend a group of players from Cheshire Academy were all set to visit BC.
Black will attend the BC-FSU game.
Unfortunately, from the point of view of Steve Addazio's staff, Rivals250 four-star receiver Tarik Black did not make the trip.
"I had other family arrangements," the 6-foot-3, 201-pound receiver told EagleAction.com. "So I couldn't make it."
But not all is lost. Black still plans to visit Boston College, signaling that he does have interest in the Eagles.
"I'm looking to go to the BC-Florida State game," Black continued.
His teammates, including C.J. Holmes, will be attending that game as well. BC is recruiting some of Black's teammates and while the goal isn't to try to arrange a packaged deal if that makes the Eagles more attractive then Addazio probably wouldn't be upset by that.
"I speak to BC here and there," Black said. "Not on a daily basis but I hope they're still interested in me and I'm still interested in them."
But the Eagles have to contend with a lot of big name programs, notably Michigan and Ohio State.
"I'm going to the Ohio State-Michigan game," Black said. "That's at Michigan this year. I've been talking to Michigan a lot. We've got a really good connection. I've been talking to Ohio State, so it will be good to see them both play.
"I actually visited both of them during the same weekend," he continued. "Both were really impressive. I love Michigan's coaching staff. Ohio State's, too. Both programs have pretty good people and they're both really impressive."
