Hey guys, I'm new to Eagle Action as of a few days ago, but I thought I'd add a post about potential late pickups for our '16 class.
Tymir Oliver: I saw a tweet about a week ago that mentioned he had a "probable top three of Illinois, BC, and Rutgers." Is there any update as to his status? Are we going after him?
Patrice Rene: Saw that he decommitted from Rutgers today. I know Lempa was the leading recruiter on him before the whole defensive staff left, but I have to assume the new staff wouldn't give up pursuit of such a high rated prospect.
Curtis Weaver/Anthony Long: Two large defensive linemen that could slide into DT and help fix some of our lack of depth there. I know they both have BC offers, but I haven't heard any updates about them. They seem like good players, but I don't know if the staff has been in contact with them. Long goes to HS with Kobay White, so we have an in there.
All in all, I would much rather see the staff work on these players instead of "filler" players and players with FCS and low FBS offers. Any more players I'm missing?
