I asked him if he reviewed my email about being held captive by kidnappers and being forced at gunpoint to sign the series with UConn. He generally has always been quick to respond to me and others so I really didn't know if it got lost in the shuffle of the deluge of emails he must have received after the news broke. Said he didn't see it but chuckled at the comment.
He said he had heard about 60/40 opposed to it, which is more balanced than I would have thought but also made me curious why he would still move forward with it. Told him about how deplorable the UConn fan behavior had been previously and that I would never take my wife and child into that sort of environment. He said that he plans to address the behavior with their AD Ward and they would develop a very specific plan for how to make sure our fans are protected and are able to enjoy the game.
