Sully, first I want to preface my question by saluting you for your direct no-nonsense articles in The Heights this past Fall covering the travails of the FB program. IMO, you were one of the few that offered a candid and accurate assessment of what was going on. It is in that spirit that I direct this question to you. Specifically:
Have you or any of your colleagues at The Heights questioned BB as to what is going on with the BC Athletic Program in the face of an unparalleled tailspin by both the FB and MBB programs? More specifically, what is he doing in response? As part of this discussion, has he been quizzed on the following:
If these topics have not been asked of him, why? Is it a concern that asking such questions would limit future access? (Which I would understand.)
Thanks for considering this.
Have you or any of your colleagues at The Heights questioned BB as to what is going on with the BC Athletic Program in the face of an unparalleled tailspin by both the FB and MBB programs? More specifically, what is he doing in response? As part of this discussion, has he been quizzed on the following:
- Why has no facilities master plan been presented to the community years after it was promised?
- What is his response to BC falling behind virtually EVERY ACC team in terms of facilities? How can smaller NE programs be announcing IPF facilities while BC remains stuck?
- WHEN (will?) will there be a followup to the December 8th email to season ticket holders indicating that BC will "shortly" be announcing facilities enhancements?
- Recently BC has announced over $100M will be directed to BC athletics. In broad terms, how does he see those funds being utilized?
- In late 2015, BC season ticket holders were asked too complete a climate survey on BC FB and their experiences / views? Will the results of that survey be released to the community - including the anecdotal comments?
If these topics have not been asked of him, why? Is it a concern that asking such questions would limit future access? (Which I would understand.)
Thanks for considering this.
